Born in Albury NSW. My Father insisted that I started to learn to play the piano at the age of  7. Moved to sunny Sydney in year 11. I played in the school productions and was involved in music at school. I joined a big band at Harbord Diggers Youth Club playing bass guitar. During this time I was a structural / civil draftsman for a design firm in Chatswood. I also formed my own original band just after leaving school. The original road was a hard one to travel and this group disbanded due to a lack of funding. I decided to leave my day job and the youth club band and did the Diploma of Jazz Studies at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney. Once I finished the two year course I came back to my friends at Harbord and played piano with the big band. I then helped form the Enormous Horns from the core members of this Harbord group. I found myself writing a lot of music and my arranging skills came in very handy. The "HORNS" were born and I have been with them ever since. I have watched other bands come and go, however nothing beats the original, and the best.
